ABOUT

A/Prof Ramesh Balasubramaniam OAM is an Oral Medicine Specialist, an author, and a speaker. His passion for reshaping the way we approach Oral Medicine is widely respected.

A/Prof Ramesh Balasubramaniam OAM has lectured worldwide in the areas of Orofacial Pain, Oral Diseases and Dental Sleep Medicine, sharing his knowledge and expertise.

 

Ramesh has numerous peer-reviewed publications, has contributed to several chapters in various texts, and co-edited and co-authored 3 textbooks in the field, most notably the authoritative textbook titled "Contemporary Oral Medicine" published by Springer in 2019.

He is Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia and is actively involved in undergraduate and graduate teaching and research. Ramesh is the current discipline lead in Oral Medicine, and convenor of the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry program in Oral Medicine.
